Nbc app on apple tv not working
I have Spectum internet, the 100mbps and I frequently get 120mbps and about 15mbps upload. If anyone finds anything out me and OP will love you forever I’m sure! Hope this helps even a tiny bit. Sorry I don’t have a solution for you but at least you know it’s not just you and hopefully I narrowed down WHERE the issue is happening. This is the part where it would redirect me to log in to Spectrum. In the address bar is says something about “adobe auth” but I don’t remember the rest. I have tried to clear all cache and history and everything from Safari, tried it on different browsers, uninstalled and reinstalled the apps, obviously logged in and out and then closed the app, and restarted the Apple TV. Other apps work but I’m afraid if I log out and try it again this same crap will happen. This might be something broken on their end. So I’m clicking Spectrum but it’s not accessing the account.

It gives me the “you are free to watch” whatever message, but “this channel is not part of your package.” Now idk about you, but it completely skips the part where it has me enter the credentials. I also can’t log into ESPN on my MacBook. So I don’t think it is actually the broadcasting companies for once. I am logged in on the iOS app and I have no issues. So you can imagine that I would blame them for the issue. Never a clear HD stream without sound cutting in and out, video freezing, etc. Don’t even get me started on how poor the game streams are for them. Now I thought for the longest time it was ESPN since they are greedy and suck as a company too.
Could be others but I haven’t watched anything on them yet. The only ones I know of for sure are ESPN and BBCA.
I wanna say maybe sometime in March it happened or even in April. At some point I believe the apps updated and that’s when the issue appeared. So I have logged into all the apps that I KNOW he gets channels for at home and everything was working great. His opinion is that they have cable on one tv and for that price “someone else better be able to use it or I might cancel.”Īnyways. I use an Apple TV 4th gen (NOT 4K) and I use my dads cable log in for Spectrum. Finally found someone who has this same problem! So little background info on my setup.
